Description: 
The regulation provides a framework for the promotion, development, production and remuneration of biogas that feeds into the natural gas network in Luxembourg. A feed-in tariff is provided to producers that feed biogas into the national natural gas grid. The tariff is dependent on the time when the plant injected the biogas for the first time and on the owner of the plant. If the plant belongs to the producer with a large public participation (50% or more of the ownership), the feed-in tariff rate is lowered by 10% or 30% depending on the tariff, in comparison to the rates for which private operators are eligible for. The regulated tariff is due for 15 years. The total quantity of biogas is limited to 10 millions of m³ per year.
