Factsheet: Air emission limit from stationary sources

Air emission limit from stationary sources

Key Information
Full name of Instrument & Measure (English):
Regulation on air emission limit values of pollutants from stationary sources (OG 117/12,90/14)
Full name of Instrument & Measure (native language):
Uredba o graničnim vrijednostima emisija onečišćujućih tvari u zrak iz nepokretnih izvora (NN 117/12, 90/14)
Description:
The regulation defines air emission limit values for certian pollutants from stationary sources, monitoring and reporting, measures for emission reduction etc. Air emission limit values for CO, SO2, NO2, particulate matter are set for boilers using biomass as fuel. Emission limit values are also defined for waste combustion and co-firing (SO2, NO2, TOC, HCl, HF etc.). The changes of the Regulation introduced new limits for NOx emissions for power turbines using common liquid fuel and gaseous fuel when under load higher than 70%: 400 mg /m3 for turbines ≤50MW and 300 mg /m3 for turbines >50MW installed capacity.
Goal/Aim:
Limit the emissions from stationary sources

Ministry of Enviromental and Nature Protection
