Description:
Defines relevant conditions for thermal treatment of waste for energy production (incineration and cofiring), measures for the protection of air, soil and water and also management of residues in waste thermal treatment plants. Waste types encompassed by energy recovery within Waste Act, are excluded from this Ordinance. The Ordinance also defines water emission limit values for certain pollutants such as heavy metals, dioxins and furans etc.
