Description: 
The National Renewable Energy Action Plan 2011-2020 provides detailed road map for the period 2011-2020 of how Spain is expected to reach its legally binding 2020 target for the share of renewable energy in their total energy consumption, as required by Article 4 of the Renewables Directive (The Renewables Directive, officially titled as 2009/28/EC). In the plan, Spain sets out sectoral targets, the technology mix expected to use, the trajectory to follow and the measures and reforms to undertake to overcome the barriers to developing renewable energy.
Goal/Aim: 
The National Renewable Energy Action Plan has as a general goal to get, as set up in the Renewables Directive of 2009/28/EC, that by 2020, at least 20% of final energy comsuption in Spain will come from renewable sources.
