Description: 
The measure is supporting investments of micro-enterprises (up to 10 employees) in sectors that take utilise rural resources: the production of energy from renewables, sales activities, social-care services (child care, care of the elderly and persons with disabilities, etc.) and other activities of micro-enterprises in specified in the provisions of the yearly Regulation and the tender conditions. Until 31/12/2013, 487 project were supported, utilising all the allocated funds (53.5 m€). The greatest share of investments refer to the purchase of new equipment in the field of wood processing and furniture manufacturing (30%), followed by investment in manufacture of fabricated metal products (19%), tourism (18%) and energy (8%).
Goal/Aim: 
The measure aims to strengthen rural economies and improve employment opportunities in rural areas by supporting investments in already functioning as well as the newly established micro-enterprises in rural areas. Priority is given on more efficient use of rural resources, including biobased materials and renewable energy resources.
