Description: 
In Slovenia, electricity generated from renewable energy is supported mainly through a feed-in tariff and a premium tariff. Certain producers ("qualified producers") of electricity from renewable sources may choose between a guaranteed feed-in tariff and a bonus ("premium") on top of the free market price for electricity. Furthermore, in Slovenia public calls for subsidy applications are organised and loans are provided for projects in the field of renewable energy. The following provisions/policies areaim at promoting the development, installation and usage of RES plants: a training programme for RES-installers, a certification scheme for RES installations, exemplary role of authorities in the public sector, building obligations, which foresee the usage of RES and a support for RES-H infrastructure.
